Sunny Yaletown Days

This Saturday Yaletown was abuzz with people, classic cars and (of course) the super dogs! No, I had not fallen asleep into my latest non-fat extra hot latte, it was YALETOWN DAYS and the hoards had descended on our peaceful urban neighbourhood.

There were musical performances on the main stage, BMX high jinks right outside our door and, in typical Yaletown style, a bubblegum pink fire truck handing out free razors!?

And of course LK put on a show of our own with free samples of our delicious home-made Granita (fresh fruit Latin slushys) "Watermelon-white peach anyone?" plus our good friend and music maestro Chris Goodwin was spinning some funky tunes for all the beautiful people soaking up the sun on the patio.

Our crack team of PR professionals, Dallas and Natiea (pictured), were also out and about giving out tantalizing tastes of our Island Chips and telling those not in the know about the wonders that await them at 1265 Hamilton Street.

Sadly it all cleared out at 5pm sharp - I know I could have kept on dancing in the street til the wee hours of the morning - but I guess this is Vancouver and we do have to get up early the next morning to hit the beach.

Until next year my fellow street dancers, the challenge is for LK to come up with something bigger, better and a even more fun for summer 2007 - a sumo suited wrestling competition with the local restaurants???
